Easy-To-Understand Unpacking Methods
Published on Monday, 14 December 2009 Unpacking is not as complicated as you think. Here is a simple method of unpacking that is straightforward and very easy to follow. - Big furniture first- take time to know the arrangement of your new house before moving, so that you can plan where to put the big appliances and furniture. Thus, when you arrive, you can ask the movers to place the big furniture in the place where you want them to be permanent. In this way, you don't have to rearrange heavy furniture afterward. - Assemble beds- trust me: you'd want your bed ready when the first day of the move ends, for you'll be awfully exhausted. So, make sure that you set it up right away upon your arrival. - Put the boxes in appropriate rooms- ask the movers to place all the boxes into the rooms where the items inside should be placed. Doing this will make it easier for you to find the stuff needed for the various rooms in your new home. - Look for the ?essentials? box- unpack this box first for it contains your basic necessities, like towels, soap, toothbrush, shampoo, food, coffee, etc. You need them to get through the day. This simple method of unpacking had worked for me and I believe it will work for you, too.
