Essential Things You Need to Bring and Do before the Move

Published on Wednesday, 24 February 2010

Essential Things You Need to Bring and Do before the Move When moving, you should look into all the aspects of your family's health and life. So, you should not forget to bring everyone's medical records. This is important as you would need to see a dentist or a doctor sooner or later. Even your pets need to see the vet too so you should not forget the medical records of your pet as well.   Your children would surely go to another school and you need their permanent school records. It is therefore important that you arrange to obtain them before you leave your town.   Even if you are leaving, it does not mean that you should forget about all your friends there. It's important that you have a copy of everyone's numbers. You should never get rid or forget to bring your phone book when you move. You should not forget you valuables too. If you have hidden them somewhere in the house, it would be safer to put them in the safe before you move so you will not end up leaving them in the house.   Since you may not be able to memorize your new address yet, it would be a good idea to have a copy of it in your wallet for reference. It would even be better if you have your phone number there too. And to ensure that you have access to money, you should open a checking account in your new town even before you move.
