Helpful Tips on How to Do an Organized Packing
Published on Monday, 08 February 2010 No matter how boring and how tedious packing is, you cannot avoid it if you are going to move. And if you want to save money, you have to do it yourself too. So the best thing you can do is to start planning and preparing early. The first you should do is to go over your things so you will know how much packing materials you will need. While you're at it you can segregate the items you will no longer want and prepare for its disposal. Then it's time to prepare the packing materials. Make sure to purchase enough moving boxes, tapes, markers, bubble wrap, packing paper and other packing materials before you start packing. Put the packing materials in their corresponding rooms and then start packing each room. The best way to do it is to pack the items you need least. For instance, when packing your bedroom you could pack season clothes first. In the kitchen, you can pack the baking pans first if you very seldom bake anyway. As you pack, make the inventory listing so you will know where to find specific items later on. Label the boxes too so you will know where each goes. It would even be better if you use a color code as well. Number the boxes too so you will know which box to open first.
