Unpacking is such a tedious task. And it may take as much time as packing since you need to arrange everything as you want your home to look like and to function. And so when you arrive your new home, you should start unpacking right away. You should first take care of the furniture and the home appliances. This would put some order into your home right away.

But this would be faster if you check out your home and you plan before the moving the day.

After the bigger furniture is in their proper place, you can arrange the beds. You can then put some beddings too. Prepare the pillows and blankets so that everything is ready when you need to rest after a day's hard work.


The bathroom should also be setup as you would also need to clean yourself up after dealing with the boxes and other dusty or dirty stuff. The other boxes should be placed in their corresponding rooms so you can easily and quickly unpack them. With the boxes in the room already, you won't have to bring them to and fro other rooms.

The kitchen also needs to be prepared so you can prepare meals at anytime of the day. At least you would not have to starve during your first day. By being systematic, you won't have to spend extra money and you will be more comfortable in your new home.
