You may think that you've already handled everything well from start to finish. In fact, you've started preparing for the move very early. You forgot to ask the removals company what forms of payment are accepted. Most removals company would hand you the bill before unloading a single box from the truck. In fact, their trucks would remain locked until you have settled the bill. This is their way of ensuring that they will be paid for the services they render. Now the most important thing you should know is that almost all removals companies only accept cash payment. If you don't want any hassle come payment time, you must be prepared with enough cash. If not, this could lead to more charges for you. If the movers have to wait for some time until you are able to come up with the whole amount, you would have to pay for the wasted time. Or worse, if you don't have enough cash they could keep your things until you can pay them. And for sure, they will not do it for free. You would have to pay for the storage too. Again to avoid this occurrence, always ask what forms of payment are accepted or have enough cash ready just to be safe.
