Nine Great Tips for Proper Packing

Published on Wednesday, 22 July 2009 Nine Great Tips for Proper Packing Packing, they say, is one of the most important parts of the moving process. You should do the packing rightly if you want to have a smooth and trouble-free moving. Follow these nine great tips when packing: Secure many boxes for the moving. A box is not only useful but durable too. It will be better to collect different kinds of boxes like the strong and durable and the light and soft boxes. Prepare other packing things before you start packing. These things include masking tape, marking pens, newspapers, plastic bags, and used clothing. You can just look around your house for these items instead of buying new ones. Place the heaver items in the more durable boxes. Meanwhile, put the lighter items in the lighter and softer boxes. Put attention on every box's padding. This is very important especially on the box's bottom. Putting padding will ensure the durability of the box's bottom. Separately wrap fragile items with used newspaper before putting them layer by layer in the box. Put a durable padding like cloth or newspaper after every layer of fragile items. Place something to fill the gap between the fragile items. You can use clothes or newspapers for this. Label each box. Indicate which side should be up and make notes on each box about its contents. Mix light and heavy items inside each box. Doing this is safer for the items and easier for those who will load and unload the box. You think packing is difficult? That is so true. And that will be more difficult if you just pack your things without knowing how to properly pack items for the moving.
