The Little Things - Moving

Published on Monday, 23 August 2010 After getting all the big concerns about moving set (concerns like hiring a moving company, getting your possessions packed and ready for transport, etc.) there are might be a few little things that have slipped your mind. Before the big day, make sure that you've given appropriate attention to the following: Having a moving guide. You may feel that you have everything pegged, but if your plan has any holes in it, then a good moving guide will help you see them before it's too late. Don't worry about any additional costs, either, because there are many free moving guides that are available online. Making sure you've got the right address. This may seem unnecessary, but people do make mistakes. You'll want to spend a minute or two making the right calls to make sure that you know exactly where you're going and how you're going to get there with your truckload of stuff. Inform the right people. You may have already been approaching your friends and associates to inform them of your move, but without a systematic approach to this, you may forget a couple of names. To avoid any unnecessary inconvenience, make a checklist of everyone who needs to know that you're moving out, or where you're relocating to.
