Some people may not be aware that there are several options to you on how you want your things to be transported from your old home to your new living space. It is best to look at all the options available to you so that you can decide which is best and more convenient for you (and your budget).
There are two main ways of having your things transported - one is the most common moving van or truck method. You simply cart out all your boxes and you fill the van or truck with them, after which the moving company or you drive the said vehicle to your new destination.
The other method is what is referred to as a moving pod. Moving pods are large storage containers you can use to transport your stuff into without having to worry about rain damage or theft. These containers can be filled up at your leisure and pace, and will be picked up and transported by the moving company once you send them notice that they can pic up the pod (or pods). Then all that's left is to simply arrive at your new home, where the pod will be waiting for you.
