Why Renting a Home is Easier at the Beginning
Published on Wednesday, 10 February 2010
Most people immediately look into buying their own house, very few realize the real deal behind the responsibilities and obligations they will have even if they manage to get a house. Paying back the housing loans as well as handling the mortgage is already a hefty responsibility, not to mention the maintenance you will need to do all by yourself. There is no issue if you are financially capable of all of this, but for the general run of people who have a modest salary, renting a house might be the best solution at the beginning. For one, you won't need to be bothered with all the necessary maintenance the goes behind owning your own house. Unlike when you rent, there is always the landlord or landlady you can run to. Of course, small tasks like changing light bulbs maybe considered to be part of what you need to do yourself, but the burden of responsibility is different, with you getting to share it with others. Also, while you rent, you can start saving up for the dream house you always wanted, instead of buying a house you are not completely satisfied with and having to pay that back (plus mortgage). Chances are, if you barely manage to buy a house at the onset, you might face difficulty in paying the financial obligations and might end up stuck in that house for a long while.
