Why Some People Move To The Country

Published on Wednesday, 25 November 2009 In this day and age when people are putting a high premium on modernity and sophistication, there are still those who choose to move and live to the country. The most common reaction from those who know them is a bit of surprise, but when you think about it, there are a lot of legitimate and good reasons why many people choose a more rural and less urbanized setting as their living environment. For one, a country setting is a much more relaxed environment, where everyone isn't in a rush to get somewhere. This not to say that they're late or anything, it is just that the environment in the country is much more relaxed and easy going. There's much less traffic jams too, so your drive is safer and much less stressful. Another advantage of the country is that it's quieter. It's a better place to think and rest because the environment fosters peace of mind. Speaking of peace of mind, prices of most things tend to be cheaper in the country so you won't be too concerned with money matters. At the very least, it will be less of a problem. Another major reason people move to the country is because of the significantly lower pollution levels. And with a healthier environment, people are less prone to get sick and live longer and stay strong.
