14 May 2013 - Initially we thought the men might not understand our intructions as English is not their first language but they did understand very well and I soon realised they knew what they were doing. Ivan in particular was an excellent team leader. He was respectful, handled the team and furniture very professionally. On arrival at the new house, the men were careful with the walls, lights and floors and this was a huge relief. They worked hard hard and gave 100% commitment to the job. George packed our China very well and was pleasant to talk too as were all the men (I don't know the name of them all). All the men were well spoken, polite, they were not rowdy but attentive calm and focused. Excellent attitude. Please let them know. Claudia was also wonderful from beginning to end. She was always calm, reassuring and very helpful. Also she remained in touch prior to the move which was a great help. on the day of the move Maria assisted us over the phone, she too was polite and helpful. Thank you to everyone but especially Ivan who is the perfect team leader and a prime example of excellence in customer relation. He executed the task with intelligence, respect &motivation. I would suggest he is used an example to train future removal men. He delivered exactly what we needed. My only complaint would be the vans. Theyw were not big enough and the team had to return for a second loading trip. A larger van would've saved time.

13 May 2013 - I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency with which my move was dealt with. The two young men that facilitated my move were presented with a particularly difficult and challenging task, which amongst other things involved them waiting around for a lengthy period of time whilst I got a piece of equipment to enable them to finish the job. They were both courteous and very patient and in the end managed to shift a rather large and cumbersome piece of furniture. As you can imagine I was indeed stressed out by the whole event however, the manner in which these two young men dealt with the removal of my furniture made the entire event a lot less stressful than it otherwise could have been.

I got a call from someone from the team the day before the move and a second email saying that somone would call, I was impressed that I got a confirmation email and a copy of the terms and conditions. I think it's very helpful that you can list the items that you have and wether you are keeping or throwing it away.. And being able to pay by card is very handy! The removal men that arrived were both friendly and professional, they worked very hard and I could see them taking great care with large awkward items. They listened to instructions very carefully and got on with the task well. They arrived before my booked time which was very handy because it allowed me to brief them on what I needed done. As they were very efficient I felt as though they tried very hard not to run over my booked time slot which is fantastic. I felt that the pricing was fair and the option of how many men you can have is great. My only criticism is that I think the removal vans should have the company logo on it and maybe the removal men can show an ID also with company logo when they arrive?.. Or some kind of uniform polo shirt with the logo?.. Overall I was very pleased with the service and will be recommending your company to my friends and family. Many thanks. Teresa Sarai-Raphael.

Maybe the boys had they lunch break just we didn't know they would and we were wondering for a few moments where they were. Anyway, they finished a job well in time so no complaints - however,if they are entitled for lunch break it would be useful to inform the customer so they don't worry about the whereabouts of the vans.

I had a small disaster prior to the man arriving, which I was still sorting out when he arrived, but we managed to work through this. We were delayed due to traffic, so ran over and he told me he had another job to do, but didn't overtly seemed stressed, hassled or annoyed with me, which was comforting. And ensurd everything was moved and I was happy with the job when he finished. Which I was! Also throughout the booking process, I was responded to with quotes, an amended quotes promptly - I do like the way this is done over email and many a telephone conversation is not required.

17 October 2010 - Risk free removals. Used them for 3 moves ranging from flat move to house move to moving bedroom furniture and each time the teams have excelled themselves and I could not recommend them highly enough. Maintain your service from your office to the removals team as this is already very high and it woud be disappointing for it to go below the high standard you have set yourselves. The people i have spoken to in the office and the removal men themselves have always been very polite and efficient.

12 October 2010 - The two removals guys, John and Victor, were absolutely brilliant and I couldn't have asked for a more helpful and accommodating team to assist on what was not a particularly straightforward move. They disassembled some of the furniture and put it all back together again before leaving, something which I don't believe is offered by all removal companies. They both worked extremely hard and really helped make this a stress free move and I would thoroughly recommend your Company again. My only slight concern, and please, it is not a reflection on either John or Victor, is the communication could be slightly difficult on occasions with the language barrier. Perhaps HandyMoves could consider sponsoring your employees to attend a short English speaking language course. Other than that, I cannot fault John and Victor is any way, they were absolutely excellent and I would certainly recommend your Company to friends and family.

18 July 2010 - I have moved 7 times in 5 years and was so tired of doing things myself that I decided to use a moving company. I was worried it would be expensive and a huge hassel, but it wasn't. Nathan took all my information when I first called and I could tell from the start he knew what he was doing. He answered all my questions on the phone and later by email. The movers were right on time and all I had to do was tell them what I wanted packed. Within an hour they had an entire one bed flat packed and within another thirty minutes it was on the van. The movers (Alexander and I forgot the other guy's name) were so fast. Everything was packed professionally, especially the fragile stuff. They had all my things moved into the new place and unpacked within another hour and a half. Within 3 hours I was completely moved! It was worth every penny not have to worry about a thing and it was more than fairly priced. I would definitely use this company again and would definitely request Alexander and the other team member.

I wasn't worried about my belongings at any stage and the team were very helpful and didn't hesitate to try new methods when moving big heavy furniture into a small flat door and corridor. We had a problem with the size of our sofa and the guys could not get it through the doorways. Not to worry, they quickly had a plan and the sofa went out the window.. This made me nervous initially, but in the end it was executed swiftly and safely.. The unpacking was also very quick and the boys helped us set up the bed and put boxes in our cellar. It was very efficient from inital enquiry through to job completion.Our move was slighlty more involved than usual as there was one collection but two seperate drop off points. They kept us informed all the way and because we were not at the final destination they called to ensure that everything was in order at both delivery points. I was nearly put off using you by a testimonial I saw on a comparision site on the internet.I am so pleased I did not go elswhere. Many thanks

Unfortunately, as the van was being loaded, there were some items that had to be removed and some items that had to be re-positioned because I decided to give them to a family member rather then take them to my new flat. 31 March 2008 - Rob Those times will work out great. We will see you on Wednesday the 9th at 1pm for the packing and Thursday at 8am for the removal. Also just wanted to give you some feedback. Of the 4 companies that we selected to come in and provide a quote only your company and one other came in on the day and time to provide the quote. All of the other three companies are BAR approved. Our decision came down to a few facts: • Your company turned up at the agreed time and date to do the quote. • Your representatives phoned in advance to confirm they were on their way. • Your company provides more information on your web site. • You contacted us to confirm the quotation within in an hour of the quote being completed as advised by your representatives. • Your quote was competitive and was aligned to what you advertise on your web site costings. We look forward and have confidence based on our experience so far that our move will go smoothly and on time. Great customer service is hard to come by in the UK and I commend your company on delivering where other have not.

08 November 2007 - Movers arrived on time and fully prepared. The packing was secure and efficient. Both movers were personable and amiable to direction. Loading was quicker than expected given there were quite a few stairs to negotiate. Because we live on a high street they had to park 50m from the flat but they did not let this slow them down. We did not request the unpacking service but both movers kindly put the boxes in the appropriate rooms based on the the labelling they had done earlier.
